
Savannah and several of her teammates from Larkin Dance Studio in Woodbury traveled to Chicago for the 24 Seven Dance Convention the weekend of Nov. 15, 2019.
Manzel performed in the Mini division, dancers aged 8-10, and earned top spots for her solo “In Your Wondering” and earned the First Overall Mini Solo award.
In addition to her solo performance she picked up the Non-Stop Dancer Scholarship, which gets her into several other conventions and competitions throughout the next year. You can see the full list of awards at the 24 Seven Dance Convention website.

Savannah’s favorite part of convention weekends is the comraderie she builds with her friends from the studio, she also like “meeting new friends from around the country.” To sum it up, she said ” Dancing all weekend with new friends and meeting new faculty inspires me to keep working hard so I can get better and better.”
