It is one of the first dance events of the season and studios from around the Twin Cities descended on the Hyatt Minneapolis on Nov. 8-10 for the Jump Dance Convention.
Among the participants was Hayley Miller, for her ballet and contemporary pieces. Hayley “jumped” up a division and competed in the Senior Solo competition. Of the scores of dancers, Hayley placed ninth.
Hayley performed to a song called New Day, her dance was choreographed by Albert Blaise Cattafi of the Phoenix Ballet Company. Miller is coached by Stephanie Wise Olson Elm and Allynne Noelle Stoller from Summit Dance Shoppe.
Hayley not only placed in the top in her contemporary solo, she was named a workshop winner, scoring her some amazing opportunities in the year to come.
