Tip #2: How to improve leg height with a TFL release
Working on leg height, battement, develop, or high kick? This technique is for you! The TFL often gets overused and starts limiting your leg height. Calm it down after each practice with this TFL release.
The TFL is located where the front pocket on a pair of jeans/shorts is located. Place the roller or a release ball on the floor. Localize this area of your body on top of the ball. Hold for 30 seconds and remember to breathe through the release. Please avoid the bone on the front or side of your hip. This technique is for muscles, not for bones.
