What are your plans to build stamina over winter break? Try a functional home Tabata-influenced HIIT workout 1-2 x/week.
Perform each of the following exercises going all out for 20 seconds with good form, followed by a 10 second rest.
- Body weight squat
- Push up (OK to lower knees)
- Body weight lunge
- Shuffle sideways
- Plank hip rotations
- Jumps in ballet second position
Try to repeat the list up to 8 times. Keeping good alignment is the most important focus.
